Is Task Bar Hero pay-to-win?
No. Nothing in the game is locked behind a paywall — every stage, boss and difficulty is clearable for free, and even 100% of the achievements are obtainable without spending. The paid DLC makes you faster and adds convenience (an extra damage class, pets that boost gold/XP/drops, more stash space), but a free team built around the Knight, Sorcerer and the free Priest clears all content given time. Buy for speed and to support the devs, not because you have to.

Priest — free, claim immediately

Hunter — the best paid buy
If you spend money on TBH, spend it here. The Hunter is an S-tier ranged damage dealer with the highest damage ceiling in the game and elemental bolts that also hit groups. It turns the consensus best party (Knight + Hunter + Priest) into a boss-deleting machine. Worth it for anyone who wants to push the hardest difficulties quickly.
Supporter Pack — pets (the Dragon is great)
The Supporter Pack bundles pets, and pets in TBH all stay active at once (their bonuses stack — no roster decision). The standout is the Dragon, which stacks chest-drop, gold and XP bonuses; the Sword pet adds XP, and the Butterfly's gold bonus is weak (the free Watcher pet is better for gold). Stash Pages — convenience
Extra stash pages give you more room to hoard gear and materials before alchemizing. Pure quality-of-life: handy if you like sitting on a big inventory for crafting and market flips, skippable if you alchemize aggressively.
Slayer — skippable
The Slayer is a fun kill-scaling melee bruiser, but it's the most skippable paid class: it overlaps the free Knight's melee role and most teams want a ranged damage dealer in the open slot. Buy it for variety after you own the essentials, not as a priority.
Soundtrack — for fans
The official soundtrack DLC is exactly that — the game's music to own and support the composers. No gameplay effect; grab it if you love the OST.
